The Tennessee Space Grant Consortium (TSGC) at UT supports undergraduate research experiences in the areas of planetary geoscience, broadly defined. Research experiences occur through summerlong and semester-based research fellowships, under the mentorship of a faculty advisor. Through this program, students learn analytical and laboratory skills, gain research experience, and practice presenting their research at conferences. These skills and experiences help prepare them for future careers in STEM.
Funding will be made available for students to complete proposed and approved research projects with their faculty advisors. Funds may be available for students to present research at annual conferences.
