The Tennessee Space Grant Consortium (TSGC) at UT supports STEM education at K-12 schools and museums in East Tennessee. Our partnerships with local STEM educators are vital to our mission of inspiring the region’s next generation of scientists and engineers. Support for STEM education includes attendance at local Family STEM Nights (with our interactive booth on the Mars rovers), invited classroom talks, and funding to support student engagement, teacher professional development, and supplies.
Funding will be made available for eligible and robust proposals from local schools and STEM organizations. If you or your school is in need of a guest speaker or supplies for STEM lessons, please reach out to us by visiting our contact page.
